Project Associate (Event) Job Description Location: Lagos | Duration: 6 Months | Type: Contract/Project We’re looking for a Project Associate to join our BizDev Ops team and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless planning and execution of client event deliverables. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone eager to gain real-world experience in project management, operations, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic, innovation-driven team.

Job Details

The job details include:

Project Coordination

• Support the project team in tracking and executing client deliverables for events.
• Join project kick-off calls to take notes, capture action items, and follow up with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project tasks across teams, identify blockers, and flag potential delays to relevant leads.
• Maintain up-to-date event trackers, documentation, and internal databases.

Event Operations

• Participate in pre-event site visits (venue recces) when needed.
• Be on-site during events to assist with client coordination and ensure smooth execution.

Reporting & Documentation

• Compile post-event reports and internal debriefs to capture learnings and performance insights.

What You’ll Learn

Requirements

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.

• Willing and able to attend physical site visits and events.
• Genuinely curious about the intersection of media, technology, innovation, and operations.
• You should be based in Lagos.
